More than 200 Community Day School friends gathered at SouthSide Works Cinema for their annual Community Day School Night at the Movies. Chaired by Debi and Noam Gilboa and Jackie and Colin Rosenberg the evening began with a Red Carpet Reception catered by Creative Kosher. Following the reception the movie theater doors were opened and guests were treated to movie snacks and lavish desserts.
This annual fundraiser was filled with live entertainment by Leon and Nancy Zionts, award presentations and a private viewing of the Academy Award winning short film, West Bank Story. Awards were presented to the entire Zionts family for all that they do for Community Day School and the community, Sandy Browdie and Tzippy Mazer, both for more than 30 years of service to the school, and David Jaffe for his outstanding leadership as Board President.
All proceeds from Night at the Movies benefits Community Day School, a southwestern Pennsylvania cultural and educational asset for all K through 8 Jewish children.
