BREADCRUMB

Our Campus

Campus Building

Nestled in the residential heart of Pittsburgh's iconic Squirrel Hill neighborhood, Community Day School’s seven-acre campus is the perfect environment for our unique educational experience.

Our historic stone buildings house spacious classrooms, state-of-the-art science and technology labs, a collaborative library space, a performing arts stage, a gymnasium, two art studios, and a music room. We strive to embrace inclusivity on our campus, providing safe spaces for all students to thrive.

Surrounding the buildings are beautiful playgrounds, a multi-purpose athletic field, an outdoor classroom, teaching gardens with Jewish holiday themes, a Ga Ga (Israeli dodge ball) pit, and a basketball court. Our campus also is home to the Gary & Nancy Tuckfelt Keeping Tabs: A Holocaust Sculpture

In addition, CDS is walking distance to two city parks and the Frick Environmental Center, as well as a vibrant commercial district with an array of locally owned shops, boutiques, and restaurants.

Event Rentals

When not in use by our students or staff, CDS is happy to share its campus with the community and allow individuals and organizations to rent space from us. Available areas include our outdoor athletic/soccer field and basketball court, and our indoor gym, and multi-purpose room.
