CDS Parent Association
The Community Day School Parent Association (PA) fosters a sense of community throughout the school to help create a vibrant learning environment grounded in Jewish values. We accomplish this by welcoming new families, supporting and enriching CDS educational programs, hosting fun family events throughout the year, encouraging volunteerism, raising funds, and providing a forum for idea exchange among parents, faculty, and administrators.
The CDS Parent Association puts the 'community' in 'Community Day School'
If you have already agreed to be a room liaison, chair an event, or lead a fundraiser—thank you! Your dedication to the school and your willingness to give in any way that makes sense for you—your time, your energy, your talent—will help us to thrive. We always need parents who are willing to step forward and take leadership roles in organizing key events and serve on our committees.
For questions or more information, please contact Bryna Siegel Finer or Sarah DeWitt.
Every parent at CDS is a member of the Parent Association, and our effectiveness is a function of the involvement of all parents. The PA Leadership Board consists of 13 enthusiastic and dedicated parents who are working hard to ensure that we have an incredible and productive school year,
