Middle School Student Council has been enjoying Spirit Days this week together with the rest of the school. On Spirit Days, all the students and faculty are encouraged to dress up based on a theme.
After working hard in our meetings, we finally decided on the themes for each day. On Thursday, February 5, everyone was invited to come to school with their best sports gear. Students and teachers wore their favorite clothes to represent their favorite teams. Today it was Rainbow Day! Everyone showed their true colors, whether it was neon, pastel, or tie-dye.
Finally, tomorrow, Friday, February 7, it’s Blue and Gold Day. Represent CDS by wearing colors for Lion’s Pride. Make sure to bring the real CDS spirit for the annual 8th Grade vs. Faculty Basketball Game!
Each year in February, this special Friday event creates a lot of extra buzz in our Ulam Sport. The sounds of bouncing balls, excited chatter, and pump-up pop favorites blaring through the sound system provide the soundtrack to this favorite CDS tradition. Our CDS 8th graders gear up and set their strategic game plans in place in an effort to outdo the brave teachers who step out onto the hardwood in the most epic sports showdown of the school year. The Little Lions Cheer Squad and Lev the Lion will be there to add more excitement to this big day.
Student Council hopes to see you in your best CDS attire...and to see you at the game! Please RSVP here
