Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
Guided by our shared Jewish values, we strive to build a learning community that is culturally responsive, diverse, and inclusive.
Celebrating Diversity: We embrace diversity as a source of strength, creativity, and inspiration. Our students learn to respect different worldviews, preparing them to thrive in an interconnected global society.
Promoting Equity: We firmly believe that every student deserves an equitable educational experience and access to opportunities for growth, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Fostering Inclusion: Inclusion isn't just about being present; it's about feeling valued and heard. We work to create a safe and nurturing environment where every member of our community can be their authentic selves.
Rooted in Jewish Values: Our DEIB work is deeply rooted in the values of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and Tzedek (justice). We empower our students to become compassionate upstanders who make the world a better place for all.
Curriculum and Education: Our curriculum integrates different perspectives, histories, and voices, and through our Tikkun Olam 365 initiative, we celebrate the achievements of diverse groups of people through monthly themes related to race, equity, and social justice.
Professional Development: We invest in ongoing training and development for our faculty and staff to ensure that they are equipped with the tools and knowledge to create an inclusive and welcoming learning environment.
We believe that DEIB is the responsibility of every member of our community and encourage parents, students, faculty, staff, and alumni to actively participate in our DEIB initiatives.
