Achieving high levels of COVID-19 vaccination is one of the most critical strategies to help Community Day School safely operate and protect our most vulnerable individuals, especially given the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant. At CDS, we consider vaccination to be a part of our Jewish obligation to protect one’s own life and health and that of others.

As per school policy announced Thursday, October 21, all age-eligible (5 and older) CDS students are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Students will be considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second shot in a 2-dose series of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, and proof of vaccination must be submitted to the CDS Health Office after the second dose.
