The CDS Parent Association invites you to join us Wednesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. in the Katz Theatre at the JCC Pittsburgh for a special screening of the new documentary Angst, Raising Awareness Around Anxiety.
The 56-minute film explores anxiety, its causes and effects, and what we can do about it, featuring World Champion Olympic swimmer and mental health advocate Michael Phelps. Through candid interviews, the film tells the powerful stories of many kids and teens who discuss their anxiety and its impacts on their lives and relationships, as well as how they’ve found solutions and hope. A post-film panel discussion with mental health and child development professionals will follow, opening up a dialogue among our families, community leaders, and experts.
The event is free. Registration will be open only to CDS and JCC Pittsburgh/The Second Floor families for a week and will open to the general public on Monday, March 11 if space is still available.
