CDS Annual Fund

The Annual Fund supports every student, teacher, and program at Community Day School. It provides the flexibility to respond to changing circumstances and to take advantage of new opportunities. It helps to bridge the gap between the actual cost of educating a student and the tuition. Every gift truly counts—no matter the size.

Parent Campaign

Parents provide Community Day School with a firm foundation of support. Their belief in the instruction and values we provide their children is what sustains CDS. The Parent Campaign encourages every parent to participate in an annual campaign gift, no matter what size the individual contributions may be. Garnering 100% campaign participation from parents helps us to accrue funding from corporations and foundations.

Grandparent Campaign

Grandparents of our students have provided a pillar of support to us, not only giving lavishly of their time and love, but also giving generously in their financial contributions to our school. A gift to the Grandparent Campaign reaches across the generations and helps the school to grow as the grandchildren do. Grandparents are also invited to get involved with our Grandparent Association.

Alumni Campaign

Alumni gifts to the Annual Fund support the teachers who taught you how to learn, the coach who showed you how to lead, and the students who follow in your footsteps. Alumni gifts help students aspire to make the world a better place, knowing that those who came before them are behind them all the way.

Tax Information

I am glad and honored to be entrusted with helping to raise money for the school knowing that the funds raised will have a positive impact on children's lives for generations to come and the strength and vibrancy of Pittsburgh's Jewish community.
