Extended Day

Community Day School is pleased to offer an enriching Extended Day program filled with opportunities for students in our Early Childhood program through Grade 5 to learn, grow, and explore at the end of the traditional school day. Staffed by CDS teachers and other caregivers, Extended Day includes a fresh fruit snack, time for homework, indoor games, and outside free play. 



Cost of the 2017-2018 program:

  • Full-Year – $2,500
  • Full-Year (four days) - $2,000 
  • Full Day rate $21 (pickup until 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday and until 4 or 5 p.m. Friday, depending on the time of Shabbat)
  • Partial Day rate $13 (pickup until 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday and until 4 p.m. Friday)
  • Late charge (after program hours) - $10 per 10 minutes. Prompt pickup of your child is essential.
  • We are pleased to offer a 15% sibling discount. 

Dates and times of Extended Day for the 2017-2018 school year:

  • August 29, 2017 to June 8, 2018
  • Monday through Thursday, 3:35 to 6 p.m.
  • Fridays, 2:35 to 5 p.m., except November 10–January 19 when the program ends at 4 p.m. because of the start of Shabbat.
  • There will be no Extended Day program on days when there is no school.
