Grandparent Mezuzah Society
Grandparents are a vital part of our lives and of the CDS community. There is an old adage that kissing a mezuzah is like kissing your grandchild - a moment filled with adoration and a commitment to Judaism and the ones we love.
Any grandparent who makes an annual gift of at least $180 will become a part of this society. Your contribution will go directly to the First-rate Faculty Fund, investing in your grandchildren who are the future of the Jewish community and CDS. The quality education your grandchildren receive requires quality educators and this supports education from generation to generation.
In recognition of your contribution, you will receive a uniquely designed CDS mezuzah that you can create with your grandchildren; for anyone who doesn't live locally, the grandchild will make one with the help of a mentor and send it to them.
We are looking forward to creating more bonds between our generations.
Thou shalt write them on the doorpost of thy house and upon thy gates and remember to do all my commandments.
There is no commandment more important than educating our grandchildren.
The Mezuzah Society is our opportunity to fulfill this lesson!
